Brooks Nader Gives the Details on Her Truly Surprising Cover Reveal

Down in Florida for Miami Swim Week, we caught up with Brooks Nader and the rest of the Nader sisters for a little fun and games and a lot of exclusive info about the 2023 cover model.

We had one burning question top of mind when we gathered the girls together for a game of giant Jenga and a casual sister-to-sister interview session. Facing her three sisters, Grace Ann, Mary Holland and Sarah Jane, Brooks finally answered the question we’ve all been wondering: Did her spot on the cover come as a surprise to the five-time SI Swim model?

“Yes, I swear on my life I was actually surprised,” she answered immediately. “I find out every birthday secret, every surprise. This one was kept from me by everyone I’m friends with [and] the whole SI team.”

With her sisters standing by and the perfect opportunity before her, Brooks took the chance to poke fun at her three younger sisters.

“Obviously they didn’t tell my sisters, which was smart because everyone would have know if they told my sisters,” she joked, to which all three of her sisters smiled and nodded in agreement. “They told nobody—not [my husband] Billy, not anyone.”

Grace Ann Nader piped up to assure us that Brooks was telling the truth and to poke fun at Brooks in return. “I can say from the video that was a genuine surprised reaction from her. You can usually tell when she’s faking it,” she quipped.

For her fifth consecutive photoshoot and one iconic cover feature, Nader traveled to the Dominican Republic this past year.
